Sarah Newman Kalb, AP, LAc, MAOM, has been an acupuncturist for over 28 years and has provided safe, gentle, and effective healing for people, doing what she loves. Sarah earned a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston, in 2003. Sarah is an experienced healthcare practitioner, having worked as a radiation therapist treating cancer patients for 10 years, prior to starting her first acupuncture practice in St. Augustine, FL. Sarah holds a B.A. in Holistic Health with a psychoneuroimmunology focus, and has studied naturopathic medicine in Portland, OR. Sarah has also treated people with endocrine and hormone imbalances in Charlotte, NC, at the functional medicine clinic, Signature Wellness. Sarah’s approach toward healing is to integrate the best of western and eastern medical philosophies in order to treat the whole person. She has experience administering acupuncture to professional athletes, and since there will always be a bit of Vermont organic foods farmer in her, she is a big proponent of nutritional education for her clients. Sarah is a NCCAOM board certified licensed Acupuncture Practitioner in the states of Maryland, North Carolina and an Acupuncture Physician for the state of Florida.
